Zombie Delight

Greetings all! 

Are you prepared for the zombie apocalypse? Just in case, make extra of this cocktail! 

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Vodka
  • 1 oz. Peach Schnapps
  • 1 oz. Irish Cream
  • 1 splash grenadine syrup 

Instructions 

  • Pour Peach Schnapps, Vodka and Irish Cream into cocktail shaker and shake with ice.
  • Fine strain into a martini glass.
  • Top off with drizzles and spatters of grenadine syrup, allowing it to drip to bottom of glass.

Your Superpower

Greetings all!

What is your superpower? I have an answer for you, courtesy of CALM!

“No one else can be you. That’s your superpower.


The quest to become some perfect version of you is exhausting, stressful, and ultimately, impossible. Because there’s not one “right” way to be yourself. Just the version who’s here right now… sharp edges, messy moments, and all.

This week, instead of trying to reach some unachievable goal of perfection, try to be a little more uniquely you. Here are three reminders to help you embrace your beautiful imperfections:

  • Quirks and “flaws” are what make me interesting
  • My imperfect failures are often my biggest and best lessons
  • Revealing my imperfections (hello vulnerability) is the gateway to connection 

Remember: You get closer to others when you show up fully as yourself.

The Time-Satisfaction Scale

Greetings all!

Do you feel that you have enough time to do everything you need to do and want to do? Most people I know will probably emphatically say NO! 

But what do “I am so busy” and “I do not have enough time” really mean? Busy with what? Enough time for what?

Well, remember my POST on Tranquility by Tuesday by Laura Vandekam? In it, Laura provided a Time-Satisfaction Scale that I found so incredibly helpful! How about pausing your Instagram scrolling to consider the following:

  • Yesterday, I had enough time for the things I wanted to do.
  • Yesterday, I got enough sleep to feel well rested.
  • Yesterday, I made progress on my professional goals.
  • Yesterday, I made progress on my personal goals.
  • Yesterday, I had enough energy to handle my responsibilities.
  • Yesterday, I was happy with how I spent my leisure time.
  • Yesterday, I did not waste time on things that weren’t important to me.
  • Generally, I have enough time for things I want to do.
  • Generally, I have enough energy for things I want to do.
  • Overall, I feel good about my relationships and my progress on my personal priorities.
  • Overall, I’m making progress on my professional goals.
  • Generally, how I spend my time aligns with my priorities and values.
  • I regularly have time just for me.
