10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites That Are Worth the Visit [hopefully soon!]

Greetings all!

For many of us, the world has shrunk to the size of our home, with the couch being one of the most popular “travel” destinations. For me, the popularity of my couch is rivaled only by the frequent visits to the fridge.

For the foreseeable future, I will not be planning any trips but I refuse to stop dreaming about the places I want to explore. So obligingly Internet comes to the rescue with the plethora of sites, pictures, and articles…

Here are some gorgeous pictures of the 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites that I saw on the SmartTours’ blog.

1. Machu Picchu

2. Galapagos Islands

3. Great Barrier Reef

4. Petra, Jordan

5. Torres del Paine, Chile

6. Old City of Dubrovnik, Croatia

7. Agra Fort

8. Red Square in Moscow

9. Venice, Italy

10. Mont St. Michel, France

  1. I have sweet memories from Petra. I am not a traveler at heart, but Croatia looks interesting for me to consider!!!
